Whether you whakapapa to Rangitāne o Wairarapa or not we want to reach out and understand your situation if you’re Māori and live in Wairarapa. We want to know if you may be at risk while you’re in COVID-19 lockdown.
Some things to note. We plan to collect this information at Rangitāne o Wairarapa. We will store this information during the COVID-19 lockdown and make plans with you to help mitigate the risks to you and your whānau during this time. This is a way for us to get in touch and direct you to the best help for you and your whānau. Once COVID-19 reduces in risk and we are back to Alert 1 as a nation we will delete this information.
We will hold this information and limited people within our organisation will be able to access it. We will be using your information in the following ways.
1. Contact details – to check in with you and ensure you’re not struggling or need assistance.
2. Your address – if we need to organise resources to be delivered to you, or if you need urgent care on site.
3. Your risk – we don’t know how many of our whānau in Wairarapa have conditions or situations that put them more at risk. This is to help us know what resources we might need to assist our whānau.
4. How can we help? – understanding our Wairarapa whānau to ensure when we’re in hui with wider planning groups that we help advocate.
If you have any queries or issues regarding this survey please feel free to contact Amber Craig (firstname.lastname@example.org or 027 255 5663).
