Founding member of Rangitāne o Wairarapa (since 1976) and head claimant for the Rangitāne o Wairarapa claim (Wai 175); Chairman of Te Runanga o Rangitāne, Chair of the Rangitāne Mandated Iwi Organisation (North Island Rangitāne Fisheries Company), iwi representative on Te Iwi Kainga (Wairarapa DHB), tohunga and rangatira of our iwi.

Charmaine Ratima

Charmaine (nee Rimene) is one of fifteen founding members who first registered Rangitāne o Wairarapa Inc back in November 1989. She returned to the Executive in 2005 after fours years’ sabbatical. She is married to Paul Ratima and lives in Palmerston North. They have three adult children; Adrian, Jason and Natasha and 13 grandchildren.

Charmaine is currently working for IRD where she has been for 23 years. Her main role is tax advisor working with Māori clients.

Warren Chase

Warren has worked in many jobs including steel fabrication and the car industry. He is a Ratana Minister, and lives in Eketahuna.
